The World Forestry Center’s "Who Will Own the Forest 4?" Summit was held September 8-10, 2008 in Portland, Oregon. Since 2003 the annual Summits have brought investors and the forest sector together to discuss forest ownership issues such as investment, timber, and conservation values. 

Over 350 attendees participated and 30 corporations sponsored this two and a half day event. Our post-conference survey showed that attendees were extremely pleased with the content and value of the summit. Nearly all respondents said they would recommend the event to others, and most rated this event as “better than” comparable timberland investment events.

As a non-profit educational organization, the World Forestry Center is dedicated to providing educational and networking events on important and timely forestry issues.
